Michelle de Metz (b. 1968 LA) working from her studios in Dallas and the beautiful Texas Hill Country, is primarily known for her hyper-realist painting, abstract expressionist oil paintings on her signature, architectural supports and the popular “Liquid Abstract” paintings. The artist's works can be found in private collections in New York, California, Palm Beach, Dallas, New Orleans, Paris, and Brazil. With a strong focus on philosophical inquiry, most works aren't always what they may at first seem and usually contain subtle puzzles intended to engage the viewer to assert his or her own interpretations.
